The BFG.
B is for ‘brave‘ to take on such a task as putting on The BFG from book/cartoon film to stage.
F is for ‘family‘, it would be enjoyed as much by the adult audience as it would the young. It had enough jokes to keep the adults laughing.
G is for ‘glorious‘ – glorious puppetry (which had the actress playing the character of Sophie moving and holding a tiny puppet of herself – and it worked!) Gloriously intimate, not too small and not too packed – perfectly glorious theatre space, set, theatre space and all in all glorious evening.
Highly recommended!
